The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) — half-day
from €38 per person
Overview
The Grand Egyptian Museum opened to the public in November 2025, right next to the Giza plateau, and it completely changes how you understand ancient Egypt: for the first time, Tutankhamun's entire treasure is displayed in one place, alongside thousands of objects never shown to the public before.
The museum is enormous, and without a guide it's easy to miss the essential pieces or get lost among the galleries. We build a route that follows a clear logic — chronological and thematic — so you leave with an overall understanding rather than a blur of display cases.
Since December 2025, GEM ticketing runs online only, with timed slots booked in advance; walk-in purchase on the day is no longer possible. We advise you on how to proceed at the time of booking.
This price covers the guide and private transport
This price covers the guide's fee and private transport during the excursion (hotel pickup, travel between the sites, drop-off). It does not include entrance tickets or meals. You buy your own tickets at the official price: we take no cut on them, and we never take you into a shop.
