Overview
This is the excursion almost everyone starts with, and for good reason: in half a day you see the essential parts of the Giza plateau without rushing. Your guide picks you up at your hotel in Cairo or Giza and you head straight up to the plateau while the light is still soft and the crowds still thin.
On site, we don't just recite dates. We show you how the blocks were cut, why the three pyramids aren't aligned by accident, and what is actually known — as opposed to what camel touts will tell you — about how Khufu's pyramid was built. We walk to the Sphinx, then up to the panoramic viewpoint where the three monuments line up for the photo everyone is after.
This format is deliberately short and focused on the plateau itself. If you'd like to add Saqqara and Dahshur in the same day, the full-day excursion covers that wider route.
This price covers the guide and private transport
This price covers the guide's fee and private transport during the excursion (hotel pickup, travel between the sites, drop-off). It does not include entrance tickets or meals. You buy your own tickets at the official price: we take no cut on them, and we never take you into a shop.
