The site's forms (quote request, booking, contact) collect: name, e-mail address, phone or WhatsApp number, hotel or pickup address, number of travellers, requested dates, and any free-text request.

This information is used only to answer your request: to assess the feasibility of an excursion or circuit, to send you a quote or booking confirmation, to organise pickup on the day, and to correspond with you when needed. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties beyond the service providers listed below.

Legal basis

Processing of your data is based on steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (responding to a quote or booking request) and, where applicable, on the performance of the resulting guiding contract.

Retention period

Data submitted through the forms is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then archived for as long as needed to manage the client relationship and track past bookings, before being deleted or anonymised.

Technical service providers (processors)

• Resend: e-mail delivery service used to send quote requests and booking confirmations.
• Vercel: site hosting.
• Umami or Plausible (depending on the active configuration): cookieless analytics tool, used solely for aggregated, anonymous statistics.

Cookies and analytics

The only storage made in your browser is a localStorage entry that keeps the contents of your cart (the excursions selected before sending a request). This data stays on your device, is never automatically transmitted to a third party, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, and port your personal data. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to info@jcguidetravel.com, describing your request. A response will be provided as soon as possible.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority if you believe your rights are not being respected.
