Twelve days to take your time: Cairo, Luxor and Aswan in depth, with one French-speaking guide from the first day to the last.

from €85 per day

Overview

Twelve days is the format we recommend to people who aren't planning to come back anytime soon and would rather go deep than tick off a list. Cairo earns a real place in this one — the Egyptian Museum on Tahrir Square, Old Cairo, Khan el-Khalili — instead of being reduced to Giza and an airport.

In Luxor, the schedule leaves an extra day to go beyond the classics: Medinet Habu or the Valley of the Queens, depending on what interests you. Between Luxor and Aswan, sailing via Edfu and Kom Ombo finally makes sense over twelve days, without stealing time from anywhere else. Aswan closes with Abu Simbel — a long day, but one that finally gets its proper place on the calendar instead of being crammed in at the end of a shorter circuit.

As with all our circuits, one guide stays with you across the full twelve days. The fee below covers that guiding alone: domestic flights, hotels, the cruise boat, and meals are arranged and billed separately, in full transparency.
