Five days is short for Egypt, but enough to see the essentials if the pacing is right: Giza and Cairo on one side, Luxor and Aswan on the other, linked by a domestic flight. This circuit is built for travellers who don't have two weeks to spare but still want to see the pyramids, Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, and Philae without feeling rushed.
The same guide stays with you every day, from Cairo to Aswan — no swapping guides at each stage, no gaps in the explanations. The exact itinerary (flights, hotels, and an optional Nile cruise segment between Luxor and Aswan) is worked out with you at the quote stage, based on your dates and budget.
As with all our tours, the fee shown here covers the guiding only — tickets, domestic flights, hotels and meals are billed separately and transparently, and we never take you into a partner shop.

Day-by-day itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
Pick-up at the airport or your hotel, a first conversation, and a walk-through of the days ahead.
- Day 2
Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum
The pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx, then the Grand Egyptian Museum and its one-of-a-kind collection.
- Day 3
Flight to Luxor, East Bank
Domestic flight to Luxor, then Karnak and Luxor Temple in the afternoon.
- Day 4
Luxor's West Bank, then Aswan
The Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's temple in the morning, travel to Aswan and a first look at the Temple of Philae later in the day.
- Day 5
Aswan, optional Abu Simbel, then departure
Depending on time available, either more of Aswan or an Abu Simbel excursion, then a flight back to Cairo.
